Going to start working on my c.v I think over the festive period.
Our broadband is being turned off for our move, and so we'll be without for at least 2 weeks so in case I dont appear for some time... you'll know why

Got my statement for my credit card and due to Abbey being morons and taking 13 days to pay a bill transfer (when it says 5 days on the internet) I've been charged. Going to write a letter to see if I can get it overturned etc and my account credited but until then my minimum payment is £89! Crikey!!!!
Oh well will pay that at the bank on monday, to make sure its in the account well ahead of the due date! I dont trust this bill transfer malarky.....

MORNING!!!!!!

ok feeling pretty chipper.... got to go to work so not sure how long that will last!
DH is cleaning up at our new house so after today it should all be ready to go, and move into.

In a much better mood than I have been this week, maybe the christmas cheer is finally catching up with me.
I didnt do any of the things I had on my list to do yesterday which is pretty bad, so still got some wrapping, tidying, packing etc to do.
Will collect some boxes from work to pack with.

I think we're out tonight with DH's ex-work mates and admittedly I really cant be bothered, its also really difficult because they all know each other (inc other partners) so I sit there like a bit of a spare part to be fair, but oh well its only one evening. Could do without spending the money to be fair as well!

work was alright in the end, nothing major..... still got fed up with how people think they can talk to you because you work in retail but served some really nice people who made up for it a bit.

Just finishing wrapping up some presents, and then I think im off out for a bit in town with my mum.....

Went for the meal last night with DH's ex work lot, which was fine but ended up being £50 for the 2 of us.... was really annoyed because we ordered from a set menu at £17.95 a head, plus 3 cokes between me and DH, £25 each!!!! Ended up paying for other people to have alcohol!
Was about to say something but DH whispered "dont, I'll just pay it", which was a shame because it wasnt too bad a meal, and that just ruined it for me.
And then didnt find out till we got home but he had taken the cash out on his credit card!!!!

Feel like Im going backwards...
