The post office won't know how the items were sent, you need to call the sellers in each case and ask them which service they used. Once you know that you hav ean idea where to start making your enquiries.
As you hav emor ethan on etardy item might I also suggest that you check your post code on the Royal mail site and confirm it shows up correctly and links to your address. My mother has major problems with her address as the address she was given on her new build was not the same as the one in the Royal mail database and no one seems to know what to do about it as the Royal mail data base one is in a different area entirely!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. everything matches up,my house is over 100 years so everything is ok there, the items where defo sent through royal mail so i phoned the sorting office and they are going to have a look and check for me,what annoys me is people might get left bad feedback if this is how royal mail are and its not fair,i wouldnt do that but you know how some people can be.0

Been there....
I had to pester the planning department of the local council for quite some time... eventually it got sorted. Basically the council hadn't registered the flats on the upper floor on the building, and so the RM database assumed they didn't exist. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Is your delivery address a flat, if is so is it occupied during the day? If thats the case good luck with couriers!0
