stopping popups in i.e.

Every time I create a new search or click on a new website I get a popup relating to a similar subject. For example if I go to william hill I get a popup for a casino website, and so on.
I've been on AOL broadband for 5 years and it's only just started, I half think it started around the same time I updated internet explorer but I could be wrong.
I run AVG every day, I run moosofts cleaner, I run regfix and AOL spyware. None of these find or solve the problem.
Any ideas please?

Try running Ad-Aware and SpyBot.

Remember to update each program before you start the scan.

Go into Tools, wee gear wheel, to check, you can also adjust Filter,

high/med /low.
