Hi,yes I have used Electorn cards in Asda Milton Keynes,no trouble several times but i would like to also put this on here as i cant find how to put a message on.
Has anyone with Electron cards from Abbey noticed charges on statements each month, anything from 1p to about 40p this has been happening sometime now,i querried it last month for 40p and got a refund,I also did it today for 3p and promised a refund, lots of people seeing 1or 2p wont bother but since Electron dose not allow overdrafts and if you go overdrawn it charges considerably more than this, there should not be charges if you have not gone overdrawn and if charges are to be put on your account you should surely be told about it and why,I have heard several people say they have had small amounts of interest put on their account but could not be bothered to querrie it,has anyone else come up with this problem.
    have a good day,

I tried 6 weeks ago. They say it is because an under 16 can have an Electron and buy booze and glue and knives etc.

    Have written and complained.

Perhaps you should write back and point out how stupid that is, as quite a few banks issue Solo cards to their under 18 accounts. I know for definite all HSBC and Natwest accounts for under 18's come with Solo cards.

If it was the underage issue, ask why Solo is accepted.
