House Extension - Home Insurance Q

I recently converted my internal garage into a sitting room. How is this described on my home insurance? The house was a 4 bedroom detached before the conversion - is it now a 5 bed, or a 4 bed with two reception rooms?

Any help, greatly appreciated!

I agree with MF and your home remains a 4 bed property for the purposes of insurance. The only time you need to class a room as a bedroom is if its main use is as a bedroom; if it's a downstairs room with a futon, fold away bed or bed covered in cushions and temporarily used as a sofa whilst your new suite is being ordered, it's a reception room.
