I'm moving in to a 2 bed flat with my gf next month, and am trying to plan my budget. Could anyone give me a ball park figure for monthly gas and electricty cost. We both work full time, will be in most evenings, and out most weekends.
I do not yet know which gas/electricity company the LL uses.
Also, when we move in to the flat, are we free to change our supplier if we wish?
Thanks.

A ball park figure, jamie, is £1000 a year.Less if you're careful and even less when you insulate more.
And you can move after initially registering with the existing supplier, tho you will need some figures to assess usage.
Cashback and comparison sites are a fact, so might as well use them.0
