    Hi Calley

I appreciate an honest opinion, which is why I posted in the first instance, I DONT appreciate comments about tax payers money being wasted by myself. And I DONT think me responding about the fact that I work and pay taxes as harping on, it was a reply to a post. I will wait for the council to respond which is why i contacted them at the outset, i just thought someone may have been in a similar situation. But apparently not.

Thanks to everyone who offered useful advice, i assure you all im not trying to get a freebie, just to see where I stand and where I should go next.

But the house is ex-council. How can they be liable to pay for something that's not even in their housing stock?

If anything, you should have asked the people you bought the house from.
