Direct Line payment help!

Hey all

Iv taken out a insurance policy with direct line, monthly installments.
Iv had to pay a deposit, followed by the 9 monthly installments.
What does the actual deposit cover, how many months?
If you are a direct line customer, when was the next payment after the deposit?

Your next payment will be next month, deposit equals 1 month plus a percentage, surely you asked? Do you normally pay money to people who just ask for it?

You have taken out a credit agreement (and agreed to pay) for a whole year policy. The deposit does not cover any particular amount of time. (If you purchased a 3 piece suite on credit the deposit would not pay for one sofa !!)

they told me the deposit covers the first 2 and a half months, and then i only have to pay the last 9 installments.

thats correct, but the first of the 9 payments will be approx 1 month after the deposit is taken

no its 2 and a half months from now (when the cover starts/when the deposit is paid), the deposit covers the first 2 and a half months then you pay normal installments

thats because i rang em lol, even if i was testing you, failed becaus seee it seems the answers are made up (not urz)
