Natwest Overdraft Increase! Please Help

  • antuk, just to be absolutely clear on the limits mentioned above, they are the interest free limits. The overdraft limits themselves are not automatically lowered(only the interest free bit of the overdraft).
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

Give the OP a break - I know £600 is a fair bit of cash but he will prob. need it while he looks for a job. Interest free too so why not - as long as you are in control of your finances of course. Natwest has been very good to me. In fact, they have the monopoly of most of the people who used to be in my class - of course now that we are all working, they will be making pretty pennies. I will certainly stay loyal to them unless they offer some really crap interest or whatever but the bank manager has been very good to us all as students - not only me and therefore I would gladly recommend Natwest to anyone - unlike Bank Of Scotland

With regards to ur OD question, you should pop into the branch - when I requested mine to be increased to £1.7k, he did it the same day. I would say he is unlikely to decline you unless you have pretty poor credit scores as a few of my friends have done it without any problems. Of course these money you will need to pay back but it is essentially free loans - so of course take that over say a CC
  • You can easily increase your overdraft limit to £2000 after 1st july on the year of graduation. I just called up and it was done in 4 minutes!
