Learner Driver Short-Term Insurance

Hello,
I've got my driving test in a week and my dad has said he'll take me out just for last minute practise, however, i can't seem to find any insurers that will insure me for a period of 7 days. The only short-term insurer i could find was Collingwood, however, you have to take out for a minimum of 28 days which is pointless for me incase i pass my driving test next week. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any other insurers that do 7 day insurance for learner drivers?
Thanks.

Are you driving your parent's car? If so marmalade will insure you to drive their car.
The other way is to add yourself to their insurance for a week.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Marmalade's minimum term is for 28 days for driving parent's cars, but if your dad is happy to have you as a temporary driver on his insurance (and his insurance company will accept you) then they should be able to put you on for a week.0

thanks for pointing out marmalade to me, i probably will just have to try and add myself to my dads policy. marmalade have some really great deals on cars and insurance though! i'm quite tempted to use them to get my first car when i pass my test.0

Marmalade learner insurance is just a link to Collingwood
I looked at their car / insurance package - although seems most of what they save on the insurance is covered by the lack of discounts you should get on buying car directAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0
