sounds interesting! Incidentally, the co-op group have just announced that Lothian, Borders and Angus Co-op are transferring engagements to the co-operative group, so there wont be a co-op competing with another co-op!
  • so i was hearing.

their store near me has been rebranded to 'The Co-operative' for a wee while now so i think it has been on the cards.

most of the independant co-operative societies are taking on the new brand concept, should make it less confusing to customers, except when it comes to the different membership/dividend cards!
  • its just been announced we will be using this new 'workforce management tool'. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I currently work as a system supervisor for somerfield, i heard the co-op does not use a system supervisor could anyone tell me whether the co-op will be using one once they have took us over and whether or not this position will actually get paid a supervisor wage, as i think it is a highly underpaid job (10p extra on the minimum wage) for the amount of work we do.
