honeysuckle

I have a honeysuckle in the front garden which is 7 yrs old. It was lovely until about 3 yrs ago and since then it has has lovely green leaves but refuses to flower.
Can anyone help or do I just need to dig it out and start again.

Do you usually prune it? Last year I chopped mine right back and this year it is flowering better than ever0

thanks Jacksmummy, we pruned it right back last yr and it is looking really healthy and strong but no flowers

Maybe next year it will flourish. Not sure if different types of honeysuckle flower on different years growth - like clematis
