Does anyone know of a policy/product that is available which pays a lump sum on Critical Illness, or Death, or an amount (Obviously not the same amount as for Critical Illness or death) when one reaches age 65 or so?

What you are asking for is an endowment policy. They are obsolete and inefficient and hardly any providers still exist in that field.
A decreasing term assurance with a regular contribution stocks and shares ISA or unit trust would do the same thing cheaper and more tax efficiently than an endowment.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
