With delivery that's £234. But if you look at the links from www.camerapricebuster.co.uk you'll find the same lens for sale for £194 from Purely Gadgets in the UK... £40 cheaper than Hong Kong eBay :beer: (or £208 from Jessops with the discount code). With no import hassles or potential hidden costs.

PS You won't get perfect clarity with a lens with such a wide focal range, if you want top notch optics, you'll need to have 2 or 3 lenses covering those distances, one good wide angle, one standard zoom, then a good long zoom higher than the 200 offered by the Sigma.

I'm assuming you got an 18-55mm lens with your D40x...perhaps you could just get Nikon's 55-200mm lens (around £130).

Not as convenient as having a single lens covering the whole range I know, but I would personally rather stick to Nikon lenses than go off-brand.
