Hi Folks, if you have sky+ installed but then decide to cancel at any apoint, does the box revert to a standard one with onfly the FTA channels?

    I believe you loose your recordings if you go to FTA

    Or better still get a freeview PVR or a Freesat HD system obviously a cost to buy the hardware but then you have either a PVR with FTA channels or a free HD channels with a freesat pvr to follow later this year, and Mr Murdoch gets sod all from you so even better

    Yep it goes FTA and you lose access to anything recorded while you were subscribed.
