6/9months interest free-use for short term loan?

hi, im moving flats, have a £1500 payment due to me in 2 months, but need money now, whats the best way to get money short term (apart from small overdraft), can i get a credit card (good credit-no loans/cards etc) and use the limit (not sure how it works- can i take out £1000, pay the min over the period then clear it in 2 months?)

Bit of a newbie, so apologies if i sound a bit simple!

cheers group

Yes, you can, but if you cannot pay £1000 by credit card and need cash, it is more difficult:

'What is a Super Balance Transfer?' article.
    (good credit-no loans/cards etc)
Do you mean 'good credit score'? If you don't have any credit cards and loans you probably don't have any credit history and can have problems with getting decent credit card.

sorry yes, no real credit history other than renting property (just applied for a virgin card after reading the site), as i say i can pay the money off in 2 months, but need the cash asap- is an overdraft facility the only MSoption available to me? virgin dont do the super balance thing?

    Any ideas

    cheers

Flexible loan - Cahoot. Their 'typical' interest rate is quite low, but in your situation be prepared that your rate will be higher. For short-term borrowing and such small amount interest rate is not very important.
