    Hi,
Why don't you do somewthing like avon/kleenezee as you can do it with kids tagging along when you want. You can say you work 16 hours a week, about 2-5 hours out and about, then the rest making phone calls, packing bags, oredering etc....You can claim even if you don't actually earn much...its definately worth doing just to get the childcare. just remember to ring HMRC and go self employed, its only a couple of pound a month in NI-yu can get a small earnings certificate from them so you hardly pay anything. The yearly tax return is simple too as you will be earning under £15000 just one piece of paper a year to fill in. Just keep your orders and payments in a book so yu can add up. Even if you earn £10 a week it is worth doing as I said for childcare. Other ideas are taking in peoples ironing, dog walking for friends, cleaning, doing virgin/bodyshop/anne summer parties etc...I guess you get the picture. Or can you make some things to resell on ebay etc...anything to say you are working and can prove it to the HMRC. Hope this helps

avon & kleeneeze would be a definate no-no as there are several avon and kleeneeze agents in the area already- the cleaning is a good idea though and i like the idea of ann summers parties as well

You could try being a pampered chef consultant - based on the same principle as Ann Summers but without the sex - food instead!!

just googled it and to be honest it doesn't really appeal to me much- but thank you for the idea anyway.

i have typed up a little advert to put in some local shops advertising myself as a cleaner, and have requested more info from ann summers regarding parties. i may also investigate virgin vie and bodyshop, will see how i get on.

dog walking is definately not for me- i have enough trouble keeping hold of my own dog at the same time as the buggy, god knows how i would be with anyone elses!
