US Hotel Advice required

I am looking for some hotels to stay in at the locations below. The hotels need to be reasonably priced and also need to be in a safe location i.e. not in the local gang area! I am not looking for 5 star luxury either but something that is friendly and comfortable for a night or 2.

If anyone can offer some advice it would be very helpful.

The locations are as follows

Seattle
Near or at Yosemite
About half way between Yosemite & Yellowstone (Salt Lake City maybe?)
Near or at Yellowstone
Somewhere between Mount Rushmore & Memphis (Sioux Falls ?)
Memphis
Tampa

Many Thanks

We stayed here in yosemite for 2 nights last year. I would recommend it.

Only problem is they have a 3 night minimum, but Karen let us stay for 2, so I guess its worth ringing and asking. If you nice enough and spin her a line Im sure you will be able to swing it.

Other than that you will be looking at curry village or one of the speciality lodgings outside the park. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g61000-c3-Yosemite_National_Park_California-Hotels.html

we stayed in yosemite view lodge just outside yosemite, a stream view is best, magical at night, was reasonably priced, clean and comfy, we had a 4yr old and 9mth old with us, and we were all sad to leave even when we compared it to the westin st francis, we had just left in san francisco

I've only started using these guys recently, but priceline.co.uk can get great deals on US hotels. We just got Sheraton rooms in Toronto for £30 a night, when they wanted well over $200 on their website. The websites biddingfortravel.com and betterbidding.com are the best places to start looking for cheap USA hotels, especially the latter.
