Help choosing bath/wetroom floor tiles

Hi
I'm planning on getting a downstairs wetroom floor tiled. Something simple and modern in either white or black. The taps will be steel and the sanitryware will be white. There will be a wetroom area and, ideally, we wanted the same tile in the wetroom area and the rest of the bathroom to make it feel bigger. Can anyone reccomend a good black or white tile and suggest how much it will cost to tile an area 2.9 by 1.8m - in the non wet room bit I wanted some tiles round the edge of the room in place of a skirting board so will need a few more tiles. I'm going to use wedi board for the wet room floor and walls and will use waterproof plasterboard, skimmed and painted in bathroom paint. Any ideas?

You'd need to use a tanking kit for a wetroom area not Wedi board. Something like Aqua Dec.

I am just about to refit our downstairs wetroom. I am doing the whole lot in black slate with chrome fixtures and white suite. My brother is a tiler and is doing it for me as a house warming present, so not sure how much it would normally cost.0

No - with Wedi you don't need to use a tanking kit - that's the point of Wedi!0
