Help please.. in getting holiday car insurance when there already.

Hi there
I'm currently on holiday in the US (Minnesota) and have decided that I would like to hire a car. I hadn't planned on doing this at first so I haven't organised any cover. Do the car rental companies offer this insurance as well as rental (not too cheap if they do, i'm sure) or can I obtain it another way?
If anybody has any advice on the best way to get covered I would be very appreciative.

why dont you try the avis site and use the codes off here and it will give you a price including all tax's cdw and all the other extras https://www.avis.com then either of these codes in the AWD box D005297 D005291 A153700If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0
