Spent Christmas there one year. Mid 20s degress C - very pleasant temperature. Sea is cold! We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Naama Bay - v nice. Lots if trips available - if you are going for two weeks budget for a trip to Cairo, but book it when you get there with a local agent.
A colleague has just come back from an AI holiday there and it was a disaster - one small drink (any drink even coke etc) per person at a time - there were five of them but they wouldn't give him 5 drinks, no drink unless you took your glass back etc etc and the food wasn't very good.0 -

I've never had a dodgy belly & have been to sharm 4 times.
I can hghly recommend the Hilton Waterfalls & Hilton Fayrouz. I would avoid AI hotels and go B&B instead. I t is very cheap to eat out in Sharm & lots of choice.
