I have heard that MFI are quite good. Especially if you get them to install everything. Also Homebase and B and Q are good. Make sure you get an appointment and go through all sizes and options. Let them quote - this will take up to 2 hours of your and their sales time. Then and ONLY then let them know your financial situation.
They are desperate for customers after the credit crunch and will be biting your hand off for a sale. Trust me they will probably offer you a kitchen for under £500 fully fitted and with appliances. You have nothing to lose - make a few appointments and try it. You really will not be wasting any ones time or effort.
Try not to pay more than £400 MAX - which is under £1.50 a week. Can you afford that on ya catalogues?
Hope this helps!!:T0 -

I never really understood all this buying on credit nonsense, which always works out massively more expensive than paying cash. And I suspect you might have had previous problems when you say "my credit rating is not very good".
Why don't you consider saving until you have enough to actually afford it?
Anyway, Wickes are doing 45% off their take-away range and you could do a huge kitchen for around 600 quid. Reports I've had back are that these are not just cheap but they are also very good.
