Dont buy a Vista System computer unless it has a minimum of 2GB of RAM or unless you are confident of fitting more RAM

Hello,
On the more expensive model could someone explain what the numbers mean after the wireless LAN bit, It's just that on the description in my invoice of the first model it states it is wireless but doesn't on the second one. Right at the bottom of the woolworths page on the £299.99 it has 'Wireless LAN 802.11g'. Thanks
Both Woolworths laptops have wireless internet capability.

Don't listen to boobbby - i (and a numbers of people i know) have a laptop with Vista and 1GB of RAM and it is pefectly fast and have never had any problems with it. You would only need more RAM if you wanted to do more complex things with the laptop, but for browsing the internet and doing work on 1GB is a-ok.0 -
The one I ordered for a friend has arrived, nice looking machine, and well worth The £224 he paid for it..... I should have bought one myself........
I have nothing better to do!!!!

Memory is now so cheap their is absolutely no reason why a cost effective PC/Laptop cant be sourced that comes with 2GB memory, see the big pockets laptop link in earlier post, the laptop of which also has a 17" screen all for 299.0 -
:mad::mad: aaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, im so p*****ed off Woolies keep cancelling my order, the moneys there, the items are in stock when i order... Was you happy with the condition of it, the one that I'm sending back came today and the box was battered it also looked like someone has previously had it as all the sticky peels were hanging off.0 -

I have the same problem as above, I cancelled cheaper model, went to order more expensive one but it stated that I couldn't use 10% off code as it had already been used. I have emailed requesting they reset my account...0

I ordered the pink Medion laptop for the same price & it arrived today (despite me trying to cancel it). I'm just going to keep this one now though because I can't be bothered with the messing. BUT just be aware that the pink model DOES NOT have am integrated webcam which the laptop which the OP posted about does (at least it says so in the description). I mistakenly thought that it was the same laptop just in pink but I realise now it's a different model.:smileyhea Proud Mummy of 2 :smileyheaTotally addicted to Boots glitches & the Next sales!0
