Neutralise Dogs Wee??

You can get tablets from your petshop called 'green-um' which you give to your dog and it is supposed to neutralise the wee to stop lawn marks. However, Im a bit wary of giving it to my dogs and I think a better idea is to crush these tablets up and put into a jug of water and apply it directly to the area that the dog has weed on!0

It's not so hard as you'd imagine
The trick is to get a container, a dish or saucer will do fine, and fill it with (clean/sterile) cotton wool and then quickly pop it underneath the dog as they squat/lift their leg and the cotton wool catches it and soaks it up!
Place it into a clean jar and pop it along to your vet!"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

The easiest way is to train the dog to go in a certain spot then you end up with a small patch of horrible garden but you can keep the rest nice. We didn;t do this at our last house but recently moved and didn't want to end up with another nasty looking lawn (and traipsing all over the garden picking up poo) so we trained our boxer (not known for being easy to train:D) just to go in a small area - it took him about three weeks to completely get the hang of it and we had to go out with him to start with but now we have a "wee & poo" area which is much easier to clean up and we just don't worry about the state of the grass in that area. In fact if I'd known how easy it was going to be I'd have fenced off a smaller area for him to use for this -might still do it and try to retrain him (when I get time!).Nice to save.0

I know where there is acid!!
I posted this in 'Old Style' for your thoughts thank you to those MSE's for the advice but didn't expect being lashed by acid tongues!0 -
I'm sorry that you feel as though some comments were acidic. I had read them all as kindly meant advice to help both you and your dog.
Sometimes it is difficult to say things in a text only medium without causing offence since so many of the other clues such as tone of voice and body language are not present to take the possible sting out of them.
