Registering credit card at work address?

I've started a new job where my employer is happy for staff to have things delivered to work, to save the "we called while you were out" cards etc when ordering online.
However, some websites seem to only deliver to the cardholder's registered address and they check this with the credit card company.
As I have several credit cards, is there anything stopping me from setting the registered address for one of them to be my work address, to get round this problem? Then I would only use that card for stuff that I wanted delivered to work. (I'm thinking of doing this with my Egg Money card, which has entirely online admin so I wouldn't have to worry about statements etc. being sent to work - not that I would expect that to be a problem).

I'm guessing that the credit card people would object to it as there is nothing to link you to that address such as electoral register etc. Could be wrong though.
Will be interested to hear if there is a way of doing it.0 -
Just call your issuer and have a second address associated with your card most issuers allow this for this exact purpose.

Thanks - I didn't realise you could do that!
I just called Capital One to set up a second address on my card... had fun spelling out my work address to the Indian lady on the phone but otherwise I think this has worked. Will have to see whether my card is accepted next time I place an online order...student100 hasn't been a student since 2007...0
