Incapacity benefit tomorrow 16-one last question

HI everybody,

Thanks everybody for your kind advice so far as regards my ib medical tomorrow (16 july) I would like your views on this.

I am in my late 40's now but have had the mental health programs since I was in my mid-teens. Is there any point in me telling the doctor what treatment I had seeing psychologists and psychiatrists etc not recently (In other words a quick history of my condition) , or is he likey to be just more interested in how my conditions affects my ability to work here and now, and not likely to want to know that it is a long standing problem going back decades.

thanks

You could mention it but the Doctor really is only interested in how you are now and how it relates to the descriptors.
