we purchased a wireless mouse and key board but no matter what batteries we used,(either duracell or rechargable) they would need replaceing every few days. We soon got fed up with that and went back to the wired versions!!!!0

I've bought one. mouse is fine, but the keyboard is doing funny things i.e press tab, it types +, press letters on keyboard and various other things happen. I can't find how to configure it properly. ANy ideas?Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0

I had a wireless mouse for about a year cost £35 at half price. It was never very good. Swaped it for an MS intellimouse optical _Wired_ which is superb. I really don't see what the fuss is about having wires now. If it's wird you simply don't get any funnies and itmore ecological than using battery variety. All in all it seems _to_me_ technology for the sake of it. Of Course it's up to you - this is just my opinion. Still, nice of the OP to give you a heads if if it's te soft of thing you want :T0

According to Microsoft the wheel acts as a normal third button and also tilts sideways.
I'm currently using a Gyration wireless mini keyboard & mouse. I bought this because I have very limited desk space. The keyboard works fine with a set of 4 AAAs lasting 2 to 3 months. The mouse works well but the rechargeable battery only lasts for 3 to 4 hours. I considered buying a spare but it costs over £40 and doesn't have a separate charger. Strangely, although the keyboard can be bought separately the mouse is only supplied with the RF transmitter at a cost of £70.
I was therefore looking for an alternative mouse and found a Microsoft Mouse from Novatech for £14.83 including delivery. For anybody wanting a keyboard as well, the play.com offer seems a better deal.0 -
It still say's SOLD OUT. I wonder if its going to come back again or if they've finished selling it?
I've had things say SOLD OUT for months on play.com then eventually it dissapears & my order is cancelled.
Oh well, if they don't get it back in stock I'm not that fussed to be honest. It looked like a decent deal, I'm sure another one will come along somewhere at some point.0
