trying to close my alliance and leicester account

I am trying to close my alliance and leicester account, but cant get through to anyone on the phone - does anyone know any numbers as i dont seem to be able to talk to anyone!

its soooo stressful hanging on - glad i dont work in their call centre!!

do you not have telephone banking and have the passcode set up and go via their designated call centre?

i know what you mean though, i went into a branch and they called them for me, but if you dont have any security passcodes in, i took in my drivers licence and they identified me that way and then i spoke with their team.

found some numbers if you have been sent telephone banking and passcode would be a four digit number,
in the post try this freephone number i used to use - 0800 0566066
or on their welcome letter to me it is as 08459 26 26 26

But pls try the freephone one first and try and get through to the current account section

good luck, any queries shout, by the way are you going to try and claim any bank charges too, or have you done so already , im in the process of claiming,
