Some thing about Changing Name?

until you've buit up a record of lending and paying back, you effectively have no record. You would be rated as poor, as would a new name without any history.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0

If you had borrowed money but only reluctantly paid it back late, then you would have a bad credit rating.trafalgar wrote:I'm a little lost ,can anyone tell me if it's possible to have poor credit history but not owe anything

Things drop off your credit file when they are 6 years old. In 5 years time (must stay good!) you should be clean again.
My hubby has just completed his 6 years and has recently managed to apply for a normal credit card and contract phone with no problems. Here I go again on my own....0
