Hi, building,
It cost me around £75 two years ago to have a will drawn up by a solicitor; I think that was a bit more than it normally costs because there were a few twiddly bits ( trusts and so on ). £65 sounds fine. I would expect any small changes to the will to attract the basic fee ( 15 minutes' worth, I think ). AIUI, you can make additions to your will by writing a codicil yourself but really I suspect that the DIY approach is not the right one when it comes to legal matters!0 -
are you a member of a union?i know that the tgwu arranges for a free will writing service with its solicitors for all members0

It's probably a bit late for the St Oswalds one but they suggest £45 for a single and £60 for a joint, just to give you another idea.0
