Hi All,
We have taken on the V+ package, which had been great until last week. Our phone has gone down, and although we have broadband the internet in turn has gone down. Virgin are saying that as there are no errors on their books in our area, so we need to pay to have someone come out through Virign- which as you can imagine is ridiculously expensive- whilst also paying for a service that we cannot use!
Does anyone know of anyone or anyway in the SE London we could get to take a look at the connections to check whether they are faulty in any way? If so, please PM details.

Really??
Whenever we have had problems with Virgin they come out for free as you rent the equipment from them.
Anything wrong gets replaced for free.
Last week our street was hit by lightening (you can see the tree 2 doors down where it hit) and 5 peoples cable was "blown up".
Virgin were around everyones houses over the next few days replacing cable modems, set top boxes etc.
If they still won't come out threaten to cancel completely?I beep for Robins - Beep Beep

I think they only say if they find no error with their equipment and it's your installation etc then they will charge you a fee for having the engineer come out..0

Virgin were useless.
Thankfully we found that we still had the Virgin installation technicians number so called him direct- he came out to us last night and found that the Virgin box in our block of flats had been vandalised..
He has fixed it and Virgin have been advised of the problem.

look like you lot down south have problems with virgin ,i am like benl they come out and fix for free even i have broken itthere or their,one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0
