Wedding insurance

Hello. New to the forum. Due to get married next July. Does anyone have any useful hints on wedding insurance. What to/what not to cover and reputable, good value companies? Any assistance much appreciated.

Make sure you get it! A local bridal shop recently went bust making national news and a lot of people didn't have insurance. When I got married last year, I found the best policy was with Marks & Spencers. They have four levels of cover available. It might not be the cheapest but it would seem to be the most comprehensive.

Also get it as soon as you start spending for your wedding.
  • Hi there

I think the advice given above is very good. M&S Wedding Insurance is underwritten by the Ecclesiastical Insurance Office and they offer their own policy direct:

I have no idea how good it is, but it may be cheaper if you buy it direct.
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.
