Help, Sony NW-A1000 frozen

Can anyone help please?
I have a sony mp3...NW-A1000 that has frozen. When you turn it on, the little fan sign in the bottom corner starts rotating, but then nothing else happens. Normally then it loads up.
Also, now sony connect has shut down, what's the best way to get new songs on there?

Have you tried reseting the device?In Progress!!!0

Yes, pressed the reset, and then the rotating icon comes back on and wont stop
