Hello to everyone

Hello!

This is my first introduction to the site and I felt it was important to say "hi" and briefly outline the new Forum Team's role on the site.

The team consists of myself and Forum Team One. Our job is to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable time on MoneySavingExpert and that we effectively deal with abuse complaints and ensure the smooth running of the forums. Please give the Forum Team a few days to settle in and we will be available to answer any questions, and will make a few further announcements in the next week to deal with some current issues that we hope to be able to clear up.

Now that everyone is clear on our role and how we will approach management of the forums, we hope that this site can settle into the best, warmest resource for MoneySaving and making good friends.


Lastly, i appreciate the scale of these changes, so take your time with them.

Hi guys!

I'd just like to say hello to everyone as well! Also I'd like to add that the forum team have deliberatly turned off their private messaging. This is because if you need to report something to us, it ensures that it comes through abuse@moneysavingexpert.com. That way the whole forum team see the message and you will get a quicker response.

Keep saving money for everyone!

A hearty welcome to you, personally I'm not aware of any issues or problems other than spammers, but then again ignorance can be bliss, I hope you get every support in you endeavours.

that's 'cos the BGs do such a good job of keeping things smoothly running so you guys aren't aware of the problems
