Overclocking question.

Options
Hi Folks
Is it possible to overclock my Samsung P28 laptop? I'm on a 1500 Mhz intel processor. What kind of improvement could I achieve? Also does anyone know of a walkthrough to carry out this proceedure?

Cheers all

No because the BIOS is locked down in such a way that the required menu entries are not there. It is possible but it would require you to download the BIOS, hack it and then flash the laptop with the hacked version which could brick the laptop.

Also the laptop cooling is designed for that processor, graphics and RAM running at that speed.

I'm only going to echo what the guys above have said, overclocking a laptop that wasn't designed to be overclocked (some newer ones are specifically designed with it in mind) is a recipe for disaster.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it
