saving PMs

not sure if this should be here or techie,please move if required

I have some important PMs I really want to hang on to ,but they are in my sent box,is there any way to save them to folder,I've done the recieved ones but want to keep the sent ones too ...........or do I need to copy and paste them

If you scroll down to the bottom of your PM's there's an option to download all your PM's

Download all Private Messages as :
XML | CSV | Text

thanks cymro ,so being a non techie ,what happens then if I pick text,are they saved as files /word document ?
