Jersey?

I am in the fortunate position of having a dad who has offered to pay for my mum and I to go away for a week with my 8 month old daughter:j .
I was thinking that Jersey might be a good option (don't really want a beach holiday with a baby), and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good accomodation or travel agents who might be able to get us a good deal?
Alternatively, if anyone has other ideas for suitable destinations, feel free to suggest!

It's nearly alawsy cheaper to do it yourself. jersey is a wonderful place, my dad lived there for a long time. There is loads to do for such a small island so you won't get bored. Hotels tend to be a bit expensive, but there are apartments you can rent too. Look on the Jersey tourism site, they usually have some good offers there. I think BMI, BA and Flybe fly there, depending where you are departing from, obviously.Undefeated Wii Fit ski jump champion!

You can have a great beach holiday in Jersey - there's a variety of beaches, both sandy and pebbles. Watch out for sunburn - especially on the sandy beaches. Worst time I ever got burnt was on Five Mile Beach/St Ouen's Bay. The sun reflects off the sand.
The baby would probably like the zoo - lots of animals to see. Best to hire a car while you're there, although the buses are a good service.I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are S0466/3973. Fantastic place to go with young children. We go every year now, first went as a family when DS was a similar age to your daughter, he is 6 now.
This year we booked our flights our with flybe and came back with BMI baby, worked out much cheaper.0 -
EasyJet fly from Liverpool & Luton and are well cheap to Jersey!
As for Hotels - the best one is the Merton, it has an 'Aquadome' with slides etc which the baby will love - however it is not a cheap hotel!
Of the cheaper hotels that are good for kids with Indoor pools try the Norfolk Lodge Hotel
Car hire is cheap (a is petrol!!) but be weary of the local parking restrictions, you will need to buy Pay and Display scratch cards to park in the centre of st helier.0 -
The pool in St Helier itself is really good and far better than the Mertons (which is good).0

Thanks for the replies so far guys. I have tried the Jersey tourism site, but the cheapest accomodation I can find would be about 600 for the week. Unfortunately, once I add on flights (from Scotland) and the food, car hire and spending money I think this might end up out of my budget!
Can anyone suggest anywhere similar (which might be cheaper to get to from Scotland)?
Thanks!0
