Dandruff/Dry scalp

Over the last few months I've developed a terrible flaky scalp. I don't know if it's "true" dandruff or just flaky skin(sorry if you're eating!), but either way, I'm like a walking snowstorm:o

I've used T Gel shampoo, and whilst it does cut down the snowstorm, it's leaving my hair terribly dry no matter how much I condition it (I have long hair), and I'm really reluctant to get it all chopped off!

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for alternatives?

    Oilatum Shampoo is fantastic.

If I run out and use anything else in the mean time, I get a flaky scalp back in no time.

It's a range of Excema products.

See your GP: there may be an underlying problem which needs attention.

    MEDICAL ADVICE

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this: Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on this forum as it’s not what this site is about. While discussing medical insurance policies, cheaper ways to see consultants, cashback for alternative health treatments and how to get specific medication cheaper (legally) are all perfectly acceptable we ask you specifically not to discuss what to do in the event of certain medical problems (please see this rule on the Health Board). If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.
