This is my second rental and i'm a student but i've always been in shared accomodation. Now i'm going to be living in a 1 bed flat/studio in Manchester and i'm just wondering how much a typical utilities bill would be a month.

It really all depends on what fuels you have? is it just electric or gas nad electric and also the equipment you will be using in the flat,
If it gas and electric you could use the standard average usage 3300 kwh a year electric and 20500 kwh gas a year,
If it electric only and it does your heating aswell work around the figure of around 6000kwh a year.
But i would probably use a comparsion site such as energyhelpline, this will allow you to put in the size, cooking fuel etc of the poperty and give you a guestimate of your usage and bills with diffrent companys
Hope this helps0 -
I live in an all electric flat and use 4 units of daytime elec and 12 units of overnight per day on average.
It costs me around £45 per month.Happy chappy0
