A Laugh for you all regarding British Gas

I recently switched to Scottish Power from British Gas.

When i phoned them to give my final meter readings the lady asked why i was switching, i just replied that it was a better deal for me, to which she replied laughing:

"Oh yes i can see why you are switching as they would save you over £100 and theres nothing i can offer you to stay"

Well it tickled me lol:o

I had the same experience when BG, loads of letters and 2 phone calls asking why I was changing, I told them we are going to a fixed tariff, SP's fixed 2011 and she said it was a very good deal and could not offer anything like that ! - she thought that deal had ended. - SP said it was 'only offered for two weeks' ????....

I bet BG will still send round a rep every couple of months insisting they can save you a packet. The last one quoted me their prices without VAT and competitors with VAT for comparison. Smoooooth.

Its a pity they cant send meter readers round the robbing !!!!!!!s
