BA Amex - Companion Ticket change

Just got a bill this morning and it seems Amex have changed the rules on the free companion ticket. So long as you have signed up to BA Miles they effectively do a BOGOF when you spend £20000.
This is going to be (from Oct 2006 onwards) £20000 per year and reset each 12 months!
I knew I would eventually get to £20000 but EACH YEAR - no way.
If you have been collecting a spend total, watch out as the clock is ticking....

If you have the BA Amex Premium Plus, its £10,000, which is more easily attainable.0
