I've stayed a most Hiltons in London. Metropole (Edgware Road) is probably my favourite.0

Just a word of warning I have just tried to book a Hilton Hotel in London using Tesco clubcard vouchers and the only London hotels offered were Park Lane at £ 350 a night or Dartford, so before changing your points into vouchers I would call Hilton and check availaibility. I was told that the number of hotels you can stay in using the vouchers has been reduced.
It may be worth looking at Thistle as the hotels are much cheaper and their agents were realy helpful0 -
Very good avice.
Have stayed at the one between Holland park and Shepherd's bush (Kensington Hilton?), which was not bad, and the one between Holland park and Marble Arch (Hyde Park Hilton?) which was also not bad. I really like the Green park Hilton, which is a bit more expensive.0 -
Other thing with Hiltons is to remember that they are aimed at business folk. Everything is very, very expensive. Cheapest wine in restaurant £23. Breakfast £17.0

Have your Clubcard points converted to air miles you have a greater selection of central london 4 and 5* hotels that way.
Play your cards right and at the 4* Holiday Inn Regents Park an air mile could be worth as much as 42p each. That converts every clubcard point into about 10p worth of value, with a full english breakfast thrown in.
Set up a spreadsheet and do the maths for each hotel you like in central london and pick the one which shows the greatest value. This is usually when you pay part cash and part air miles. Also you can use air miles to get a ride on the london eye at about 195 air miles per person.
Most hotel convert to 6p per air mile or you get 1 air mile for every £5 you spend on a hotel. Bu,t beware sometimes it is cheaper to pay cash for the hotel rather than use air miles you have to do the sums on a spreadsheet first.0 -
I have just been informed today that all european Hilton Hotels that where being offered (Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin) have been taken off at Tesco's request from Monday 4th August 2008
they will accept the deals with hilton during the week doesnt have to be a weekend0 -
Not sure if I am on the right thread but thought I would let you all know about current deal running with hilton.
Book before 6th October 2008 and you get up to 40% discount on hilton hotels across the UK. Included in the price is dinner on the 1st night and breakfast both mornings. So for two people to go to london docklands hilton for example would work out approx £76 each for the 2 nights.
You can bag yourself a weekend away for as little as £49.
