trying to install old agfa snapscan 1212p scanner. Although there are no XP drivers for this I got it to work in Windows 95 compatibility mode.

However, installing it causes me to lose network connections. Nothing displayed in network connections folder, if I go into PC Wizard it tells me I have Network Yes, RAS no. so had to do system restore to get network back. I googled and found someone else with similar prob but no solution

Any ideas if this can be rectified or will I need to get new scanner( shame because it works fine). Not really practical to have to install and do a system restore every time I want to use scanner.
