I have decided to sell my car its a vauxhall tigra and get something with a smaller engine as I now use the train to get to work and only use it a few times week for shopping etc (I sound like a right little woman driver dont I). Anyway - I cannot be bothered to go through the hassle of selling it and buying privately and want to do a part exchange.
Can any one recommend any car dealers in who are trustworthy, have a good reputation etc - I am trying to avoid the big huge dealership such as car supermarket as I reckon they will more than likely not give me very good deal.
I am based to the south east of Manchester in the peak district so anywhere cheshire, derbyshire, south yorkshire, west yorkshire, manchester and south lancashire would be a consideration! Long list I know but I am keeping my options open.
Any help appreciated - I am very scared of getting ripped off.

If you're looking NEW, for another Vauxhall, good deals on corsa, just now - new model in the pipeline - & in theory, you'd be better stasying within the same make.
This doesn't alweays work this way 'cos some makes offer the dealer an EXTRA bonus, to get from a Ford owner into Vauxhall brand, for instance.
If you're looking used, it'll simply be based on the amount of profit a dealer has available, in the car you want & how much he might make on yours.
Tigra is a reasonably popular car - & depending on the engine size, wouldn't think this should be main consideration to swap. theres much more costs involved, as just fuel/mpg. If you like the car & it's not on it's last legs, maybe keeping it would be the REAL Moneysvaers way!!
