Well have you still got your ref number. Keep it and then do all the forms for bc,book the court date for after the cccs date. If they have already reccomeded bc then there is no problem. Lots on here have gone bc with just that!!D

    ******** update**********
just spoke to CCCS ( Different number) i used the the number the debt remedy gave me.
spoke to a nice guy who said bankruptcy would be my best option and to start afresh.
he said if i want to try and keep my house i should shay here and go bankrupt tho they will try and sort an arrangement with me for my secured.
but i told him about the house near me which is £350 pm ( cheaper thn my 500 mortgage) and he said to start again clean slate in that house where my money is my own and i could live again.. he advise me that if i wanted to give up the house and 30k debt to move nto the rent house stop paying all creditors from now, then fill the forms in.. and pay £485
he made it sound so easy.

    Well done! :)

I know I shouldn't encourage bankruptcy as such, but it actually is very easy!

There are consequences though, which are different for everyone, but generally not so bad.

Also, you need to consider your work and where you stand on that.

It really isn't as bad as it seems though ;)

Now you know where you are heading you should start to stop feeling so deperate,if you get my drift. The actual process itself is quite easy but the emotional side can be draining. Good luck with your SOA.;) D

If you want to register to fill them in online then you do that here:

    https://www.insolvencydirect.gov.uk/isolv/

If you want to download them to fill in by hand then you need these two plus the notes:

    Debtors Bankruptcy Petition:

    http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/pdfs/forms/form6-27.pdf or http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/pdfs/forms/form6-27.doc

    Statement of Affairs (Debtor's Petition):

    http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/pdfs/forms/6-28.pdf or http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/pdfs/forms/6-28.doc

Statement of Affairs (Debtors Petition) (Guidance Notes):

    http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/pdfs/fo...rsguidance.pdf or http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/pdfs/fo...rsguidance.doc

Hopefully this will help (with thanks to Phil.)

    Hi D23,

Well done for facing up to your situation, not an easy option I know.
You stated that you work for the prison service,I would imagine that if you are front line having your name and address in the paper could compromise your safety. This may be your trump card if you are front line, ask CCCS but certainly raise the question when you attend court

    Cheers DEz
