My slot was 6.30am today and a lot of the kids clothes had sold out already...grrrrrrrr! I was hoping to stock up on baby clothes but only up to one month left in a lot of things and no kids jeans at all.

I pick up emails on a very regular basis and can have only missed the invite by two hours maximum and my time slot was yesterday at 19.00-19.30. I think it started at about 5.00 in the morning - so a lot of peoplemust have just been sat waiting for it! Although everything I had chosen from the pre sales list was available to order at sale price, over half of the items are not in stock at the moment.

Just to let you know the sale started at 5pm this time around so you got your in order quite early. I know the mid season sale started at 5 in the morning last March....because I slept through my slot, oops :rotfl: . I've notcied that a lot of stuff has sold out already too.

I had a slot booked for today between 1600 and 1630 but just looked last night and by chance they had one for last night from 1900 so I got in a day early. Got quite a bit of stuff but most of the kids stuff had gone.

God are people really this desperate to buy Next clothes/stuff. I find this rather sad...

And folk that queue for a space in the sale at 5am in the morning and just plain stupid. Weird

Forum Etiquettecollapse_tcat.gifarrow.gif Pls be nice to all MoneySavers. There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps. :D Just a reminder of the forum etiquette from the right hand side of the board.

Of course they are. Just think that some people on this thread in particular may find that other post a tad insulting and didn't see much courtesy in it - just my opinion so I'll leave it at that.

Not really, when you have a large family and on a budget this sale saves a bomb for this year and next years clothes , shoes, trainers and school uniform . I do a massive sale shop and have got up really early to queue in the past. Then i very rarely have to do buy anything again for another year and my kids look very smart and next clothes sell on easily on ebay after they have been outgrown if kept nice.
So not really "sad" , just good moneysaving !;)
