Next summer sale vip slots

Hi, I am new to ordering with Next. I was just wondering what time you can buy stuff in the sale as have not got a vip invite. Is there normally much left after people have purchased stuff via their vip slot?

Blondy, you'll be lucky if anything is left. From past experience and posts on here, loads of people order tons of stuff and get the same item in various sizes so that they can get the right one. Unfortunately for us non-vip'ers means it means little is left on the website so we have to get up at stupid o'clock to grab a bargain.

I had a VIP slot last time, I managed to get my slot 12 hours after the start of on-line sale and even then there was hardly anything left.

I actually enjoy going really early in the sale but i'm lucky as I live only 5 mins drive from the shop. Good luck x

I agree - several times in these sales I have had my order processed automatically at about 80 items (easy to get to with kiddies clothes in multiple sizes) even if half the items are at sold out status in your basket. If your out of your half hour slot you can't get back in.

I have raised this with next on line help and it seems there is a hidden maximum on an order so be careful if you have a big list and be quick so you can log in again!

For people who have not had vip invite have you ever had offers/promotions from next before?

I have never had vip invite before. I always had offers/promo box ticked in my account along with confirm orders through email always got emails confirming orders but never any offers in 5 years, emailed them last week and asked why this was and was told although i had ticked box i had a marketing block on my account and to phone customer services to have this lifted which i did on monday and got VIP invite today!!!!!!!

i rememebr last r when the last 3 digits were xchanged with another code....will that not be happenenig this year?
have next stopped doing that?

no they stopped that for the xmas sale items come up in pic listing and you ctick items you want

70 items has been the previous limit that you can do in one order, but I've never had any problems putting through more than one order. I then phone up and get one of the postage charges refunded as if you place more than one order on the same day, they usually do this.

If you don't have a VIP invite, the worst time is usually when the sale opens as most of the stuff has already been sent out, however when people return things, like...7 days later, it all gets restocked and its well worth looking then! Just allow enough time for delivery on the 21st, a quick try on and a quick return to next. Don't know about the other VIPers, but I try and get things tried on and sent back within a day or two of them arriving as I don't want my home completely cluttered with next items!!
