How to change a Calor Gas heater bottle.

Can someone please tell me how to change a gas bottle in a Super Ser heater? My OH used to do it but he sadly died 2 weeks ago and now I am having to do it all.
It is actually a Macgas bottle. I have done a search but have just come up with the history of Calor.
I know how to switch it on and off...its just actually removing the regulator valve from the old bottle so I can put the new one on.

Sorry to hear about your loss
I guess the regulator is the same on all gas bottles? It is quite difficult until you get the knack, then you will find it very easy>
1. Flip the black switch on the top of the regulator to the closed position.
2. Hold the regulator down with both thumbs and use your fingers to pull up the black ring at the base of the regulator.
3. Regulator comes off
Refit is a reverse of the above.
Your best option, may be to visit the shop where you buy the gas (or any shop which sells portable gas heaters or gas BBQ's) and ask for a demo.
Please be aware that gas can be dangerous and I believe most manufacturers recommend portable gas appliances are inspected at regular (12 month?) intervals."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
