Hi I_A. Glad you went for the tat. You deserve it for sure.

I'm feeling much better after a very constructive conversation with the mortgage people. We were worried about finances once my six weeks at full pay are over but Northern Rock have confirmed we're entitled to a payment holiday from February for 6 months so that's a big relief. I know the interest will accrue but we couldn't have managed without credit cards otherwise and once I'm back to work various loans should be paid in full and we'll be able to concentrate on throwing money at the mortgage and saving a deposit to move.:D

Adding to my good mood - a cheese and hame sandwich seems to have fixed the nausea for the time being;)

well, I'm back from the midwife finally. Orlandia was still being awkward so I had to go away for half an hour to walk around and then went back for the 3rd try. But finally we got to see all that was needed and she is all fine.

But, at the moment I have a low lying placenta, which means I need to go back at 36 weeks for another scan. If it's still low I will have to go into hospital there and then until I have a c section at 38-39 weeks. Aggghhh. Lets hope it moves upwards over the next few weeks eh.

Oh Toto, I hope it moves up for you. My Mum was PP stage 4 when she had my brother and it was a horrendous time for them. Big hugs and best wishes for a good outcome.

  • Hi everyone, good news that keren is back..it did seem to set a bit of a mood off on the board when she went, did anyone else feel it as well?

Toto mixed news on the scan, advanced news means you will be prepared for it, you can handle it i am sure..because whatever they decide to do she will be worth it in the end..After all she has lovely parents.

well, I've been out on an adventure.

I promised to pop to work to do an observation of a teaching assessment for someone who wasn't able to do theirs when everyone else did a couple of weeks ago.

Then I got in the car, drove to town (can't remember the last time I went to town - definitely not this year!), walked all the way down the High Street and into the tattoo studio.

    24 July, 2pm :D

I'm going to have the small one I already have re-coloured as it's faded in the middle and then 2 small tribal style black/colour designs built around it. I don't like a lot of black so they are going to take most of the black away and add extra colour. they are going to work on adjusting the design in the book to add a couple of extra shapes and then there will be some colour shading on the edges. I also don't like a too 'rock' look so the colour will soften it.

It will still be relatively small but it will really look great.

    Photos will follow afterwards!!! :T

conversation tonight will be..........ii've decided to add some bits to my tattoo'......and I'm not going to give him the chance to say 'no' or, do you have to.

Not like he ever looks at my bare back

I am so excited, I want to go and get him now.... but I have to wait until I finish work at 4.30.

They have been realy good letting me take some holiday to look after him, I think it might be pushing it a little to leave early to!!
