Indeed.. unless you've had a radical change of personality, I expect when you met him you were affectionate and friendly and jokey flirty..? And now he expects you to be different? Why is he trying to change who you are? In Cornwall they go around calling everyone 'my lover' - it doesn't mean they're all sleeping with each other.

I really think the best position is to stay calm (hard I know), tell him you've already explained it is all innocent, that you can't/won't change who you are for someone being unreasonable and that you are happy to discuss it constructively when he is calm and rational and not running around the playground telling all the other kids.

You are not being unreasonable and it is not healthy to rehash the same comments over and over, for either of you.

As for DS - doesn't he know what side his bread is buttered?

I have to laugh or I'll cry - SMP (after the initial 6 weeks is up) plus CB for the 20 weeks equates to less than 25% of what I would have earned in the same period:eek:

I had said I would stop calling people sweetheart and honey etc...and I slipped up one day....he was not amused...

I think you may be a little confused (unless they have changed it ) but I though you got SMP for 39 weeks 6 weeks at 90% and then the final 33 standard rate I know it's not much but every little helps
don't forget you also get your child benefit and child tax credits

Unless she's working it out on the old SMP rules when it was only 26 weeks.
